About Elaria Orchestra
Elaria Orchestra is a professional, Swedish big band that strives to be a gender-equal ensemble, founded and led by composer, pianist, and conductor Erika Hammarberg. Since its start, the orchestra has collaborated with prominent artists such as Magnus Lindgren (SE), Helge Sunde (NO), Hildegunn Øiseth (NO), and Rigmor Gustafsson (SE), presenting original projects and new music that highlight diverse voices in jazz. The ensemble brings contemporary perspectives into the big band tradition through both commissioned works and unique productions.
